Aralin World Building: Beyond Tagalog, It's Storytelling

Wait, did I mention that Aralin World and the 'soil garden' are the 2 parallel worlds that are getting my attention these days? I hope you didn't miss my previous post, and you know what I'm meaning to say.

Today, I changed my perspective. They're not two separate worlds, by the way. So, let me take it back: I can see Aralin World as one whole world!

Allow me to explain…

Aralin World is divided into several regions, and then the regions must have several departments. This sounds like a heavy mental exercise, but I need to present it this way so cool ideas keep arriving, and then I can develop a substantial storytelling.

The home gardens are regions within Aralin World. The gardening region has been around 5 years now. This garden is broken down into two departments: the ornamental department and the food-producing department. These departments are further divided into garden beds.

The garden beds must have names. For example, one bed is identified as the Moon Garden, and another is called the Pollinator Garden. Other beds are still unnamed. While it's fun to come up with words as labels to garden beds, I'll sit down with my spouse, so that together we'll name the nameless beds. He has to be involved because he's a co-developer of the garden beds.

Then there's one region that you're quite familiar with for some time now. I've been working on it since 2019. That's the Learning Tagalog with Aralin World. In its first few years of activity, we called it the Tagalog With Albine. I kinda dropped the old title so that Aralin World develops a stronger brand identity while my name sits in the backseat.

Tagalog Vocabulary Words for Things in the Garden

As part of your Tagalog practice, here's a list of words that you may use when describing a garden and the world where it sits on:

• bunga (fruit)
• dahon (leaf)

If you're a beginner in Tagalog, I wish to let you know that I have a curriculum designed to help you learn faster, but my teachings are personalized according to your upbringing and purpose for learning the language.

This is for a limited number of learners only, so I can focus on helping you. I don't accept a huge number of students at a time because I'm just one person teaching at Aralin World. I'll work with you one-to-one, and we'll both enjoy working together.

What Makes Aralin World Interesting?

I've been introducing Aralin World as our Tagalog learning community. It's actually more than that. Today, and in the future, I'd like to present Aralin World in various ways. There are virtual, abstract, and concrete components in this space.

As for the concrete part, notice that I've started it by telling you that I'm a gardener. The home gardens are some of the visible interests that help you know who I am outside the virtual Tagalog classroom.

While I've already introduced some of the tangible parts of Aralin World, there's more for you to see. Imagine you've picked up a bestselling book and you're transported into a new kind of experience. While Tagalog learning is educational in nature, Aralin World is created to make the language learning worthwhile.

I'm restructuring the contents that I have to deliver to you. I can develop a long story arc, and God forbid, it should not be boring.

I'll be in your space to tell you stories surrounding the Tagalog learning (and teaching) in Aralin World. I'll also love to come up with metaphors to reference our activities, its places, objects and inhabitants. That way, I'll be able to define the abstract concepts of this particular space.

That's gonna be all memorable for you.

At Aralin World, You Have a Path to Tagalog Learning

As you discern who to trust as your personal coach in Tagalog, you might be looking for someone you can relate with on a personal level. If I put in extra effort to open up spaces and reveal more stuff about me, that'll help you decide if Aralin World is for you.

There are noble actions that I can engage in to lead you to the path to your Tagalog journey. It involves daily reflection and introspection. Listening to my inner voice is an avenue that I have to take. That way, I'll be able to see all the 'regions and departments' that revolve around Aralin World. These places will be identified, I'll have fun writing about them, and I'll be happy to share them with you. We can have the experiences together.
