In the Philippines, time is often perceived with flexibility and warmth, reflecting the culture’s tolerance of others' shortcomings but instilling patience while valuing relationships and community. Hence, the phrase 'Filipino time' may mean any of these two:

  1. "That's funny."
  2. "That's annoying, but well... better late than never."
